Job summary

Alphv Recruit is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engineering Lead to direct a 3–4 person engineering team in KL, coordinating with the Delivery Project Manager on project requirements and resources. The role focuses on maintaining high standards in networking, firewall support, and overall project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and growing engineering teams.
• Strong people management including recruitment and performance reviews.
• Solid background in enterprise networking and firewall environments.
• Ability to balance leadership with hands-on technical work.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin proficiency is a priority.
• Willing to travel overseas for extended projects.
• Experience with LAN and wireless networks.
• Experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls.
• Experience with multiple vendor networking gear (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, H3C, Huawei).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3–4 engineers, overseeing daily operations.
• Recruit, onboard, and assess engineer performance.
• Establish engineering SOPs and ensure project delivery standards.
• Provide technical direction and handle complex networking and firewall escalations.
• Coordinate with Delivery Project Manager on technical resources and project requirements.
