Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of EHS experience in a regional role.
• Experience with life safety codes, EHS rules, HAZOP, training and industrial hygiene.
• Hands-on engineering perspective in EHS and regulatory programs.
• Strong knowledge of regional regulatory requirements and EHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs and systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and track effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Facilitate cross-site communication on EHS best practices and issues.
• Provide direction to sites on EHS programs and initiatives.
• Develop annual EHS training calendar, including mandatory courses and supplements.
• Oversee EHS management system implementation and maintenance.
• Participate in budgeting, resource planning and performance metrics for EHS.
