Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation is seeking a dedicated Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) leader for the Bangi Plant and Kajang Distribution Center in Malaysia. You will drive day-to-day EHS operations, ensure compliance with local regulations, and guide safety programs across the site.

The role requires a strong background in EHS, experience in manufacturing, and certifications such as OSH Coordinator and CePSWaM.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health and Safety or similar.
At least 5 years working experience in manufacturing or related fields.
DOSH-recognised OSH Coordinator qualification.
CePSWaM certification and knowledge of hazardous waste management.
RPO certification and radiation safety experience (advantage).
Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day EHS operations, ensuring safe working practices and legal compliance.
Align site SOPs with corporate EHS guidelines and update them.
Audit sites for compliance with local regulations and EHS standards.
Plan and deliver EHS training and induction for staff and contractors.
Provide input for plant projects and operational changes.
Prepare monthly reports and environmental metrics.
