Job summary

Grab seeks a Manager, Category Management to drive category strategy, assortment planning, product sourcing, and supplier management across regional markets. The role reports to the Head of Category Management and is based onsite at our office.

You will lead category reviews, negotiate with suppliers, and align with cross-functional teams on pricing, promotions, and campaigns to optimize GMV and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or procurement (in eCommerce, retail, or FMCG).
• Strong background in assortment planning, pricing & promotions, supplier funding, and retail media monetization.
• Proven track record in managing and negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong analytical mindset, with experience applying AI-driven insights and tools to category strategy and operations.
• Strong business acumen and P&L management experience.
• Work cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Category Strategy & Execution: Develop short-term and long-term plans for the assigned category; monitor trends and set KPIs.
• Supplier & Partner Management: Build relationships with local and regional suppliers; negotiate pricing and SLAs.
• Assortment & Merchandising: Build balanced assortment, drive innovation, optimize product content and visibility.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with supply chain, product, and marketing teams to improve discovery and ordering.
