Job summary

Lockton in Malaysia seeks an AVP to lead end-to-end delivery and product ownership of digital and technology solutions across Asia. You will partner with business, technology and vendors to shape and deliver in-house and third-party solutions from discovery through implementation and continuous improvement, aligned with global standards and regional needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8 to 10 years of technical project/product management, including delivery of digital applications and technology solutions.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance, insurance broking, or a closely related regulated financial-services environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing design and development of applications.
• Strong experience leading vendor product implementations and systems integration.
• Experience in product ownership/product management, including roadmaps and post-implementation lifecycle.
• Good understanding of APIs, integrations, cloud, data and security concepts.
• Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery models.
• Strong vendor, stakeholder and senior management engagement skills across Asia and global teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from concept through deployment and stabilisation.
• Manage delivery of digital solutions (web, mobile, workflow, data, AI-enabled).
• Lead adoption of vendor/global solutions across the region.
• Own product roadmap and continuous improvement post go-live.
• Bridge business, regional and global technology teams to drive decisions.
• Validate solution design with architects and engineering teams.
