Job summary

Monee is seeking a Recruitment Lead in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to guide a growing team of recruiters and partner with business leaders on workforce planning. You will own end-to-end hiring across multiple functions, ensure timely, high-quality hires, and help shape our talent acquisition strategy in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in talent acquisition, a proven record in senior-level hiring, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business needs

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in talent acquisition or recruitment.
• Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment across multiple functions.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing recruiters and driving performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end recruitment across multiple business functions, ensuring timely delivery of quality hires and alignment with business priorities.
• Partner closely with business leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, align hiring priorities, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, driving accountability, individual growth, and overall team performance.
• Take ownership of complex and critical hiring requirements, including senior-level positions, while maintaining strong recruitment delivery.
• Provide market insights, talent mapping, and recruitment recommendations to support hiring decisions and workforce planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, strengthen sourcing strategies, and enhance overall hiring effectiveness.
• Collaborate with HR and cross-functional stakeholders on talent acquisition initiatives and projects to support business growth.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and team performance, leveraging data to identify gaps, improve hiring outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.

• Prior experience in leading, mentoring, or managing recruiters, with the ability to develop team capabilities and drive performance.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior business leaders.
• Good business acumen, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical recruitment solutions.
• A proactive, resourceful, and hands‑on leader who takes ownership, thinks critically, and balances strategic priorities with operational delivery.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across teams.
• Experience in recruitment process improvement, workforce planning, or regional hiring will be an added advantage.
• Experience in the technology, fintech, internet, or e‑commerce industry is preferred but not mandatory.
