Job summary

Roche is seeking a Record to Report PEC Analyst to join our global shared services hub in a role supporting Korea. You will manage general ledger accounting, perform analytical reviews, and drive continuous process improvements within a collaborative regional team.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years in corporate finance with experience in SSC/BPO, fluency in English and Korean, and strong ERP/SAP skills for accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in corporate finance, general ledger accounting or financial reporting.
• Experience in SSC or BPO environment desirable.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and proficiency with spreadsheets and productivity tools.
• Fluent in English and Korean to support Korean affiliates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities with timely and accurate account closures.
• Perform and analyze core accounting transactions, journal entries, and accruals with high precision.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, clear open items, and submit complete financial reporting packages.
• Maintain process documentation compliant with financial controls and policies.
• Support audits and respond to audit inquiries, acting as a liaison with internal/external auditors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement solutions.

As a Record to Report PEC Analyst supporting Korea, you will ensure the precision, compliance, and efficiency of our end-to-end financial operations. Working within a dynamic regional ecosystem, you will take ownership of general ledger accounting, analytical reviews, and continuous process improvements.

In this impactful role, you will:

• Drive Financial Accuracy: Coordinate and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely, accurate account closures in compliance with work instructions.

• Manage Transaction Lifecycles: Perform and analyze core accounting transactions, working calculations, accruals, and journal entries with high precision.

• Ensure Reporting Excellence: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, clear open items, rectify anomalies promptly, and submit complete financial reporting packages within defined timescales.

• Champion Internal Controls: Maintain up-to-date process documentation that complies strictly with financial reporting controls, corporate policies, and local statutory requirements.

• Support Audit and Compliance: Participate in compliance audits, respond to audit queries, and serve as a reliable point of contact for internal and external auditors.

• Advance Process Innovation: Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively identify, recommend, and implement continuous improvement solutions, facilitating best-practice knowledge sharing across the team.

You are an analytical, detail-oriented finance professional with an agile mindset and a strong commitment to quality service. Your Qualifications:

• Educational Background: You hold a Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.

• Professional Experience: You bring 3 to 4 years of experience in corporate finance, general ledger accounting, or financial reporting. Experience in a shared service center (SSC) or business process outsourcing (BPO) environment is highly desirable.

• Systems & Digital Literacy: You possess practical working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP) alongside proficiency in standard business spreadsheets and productivity tools.

• Language Excellence: You possess exceptional communication skills with professional fluency in English and Korean to effectively support our Korean affiliates.

• Adaptability & Teamwork: You bring a collaborative spirit and a willingness to engage in job rotations across functional teams to build your skills and support collective team goals.
