Job summary

Movel AI Pte Ltd is seeking a mid to senior computer vision engineer to own the end-to-end vision stack for our automated match scoring system. You will work on real-world CV pipelines, from camera input to outputs for the scoring engine, collaborating with a small team and leadership.

The role offers a 4-month contract with potential extension into Phase 2, and a path to a longer-term role based on client needs and performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on computer vision and machine learning experience.
• Strong understanding of object detection, tracking, and video analytics.
• Strong Python programming with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Practical experience with OpenCV and computer vision techniques.
• Experience building, training, evaluating, and debugging AI models.
• Ability to work with large-scale video data.

Responsibilities

• Design and build computer vision pipelines for real-world AI applications.
• Develop and improve AI models to process video data and extract insights.
• Work on camera calibration, spatial understanding, and real-time inference.
• Train, evaluate, and optimise machine learning models using real-world datasets.
• Analyse performance, identify failure cases, and improve system reliability.
• Translate research ideas into practical solutions deployed in production environments.
• Support deployment and collaboration with engineers and data teams.
• Document architecture and performance improvements.
