Job summary

Sutera Satu Enterprise Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC Lead to lead and manage QA/QC activities for rail infrastructure works on site in Malaysia. You will ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and project requirements, and prepare essential QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, Method Statements, Inspection Records, NCRs and WIRs.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 3-5 years QA/QC experience, preferably with strong Rail / MRT / Railway project exposure.
• Hands-on experience in rail infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, ITP, inspection processes and NCR management.
• Able to work independently and confidently coordinate with Client & Consultant.
• Strong site coordination, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Rail industry experience is a key requirement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA/QC activities for rail infrastructure works.
• Ensure site works comply with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs and project requirements.
• Prepare and manage ITP, Method Statement, Inspection Records, NCR, WIR and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with Client, Consultant, Project Team and Subcontractors.
• Monitor workmanship, materials and site activities to ensure quality compliance.
• Identify quality issues, drive corrective actions and follow through to closure.
• Maintain proper quality records, reporting and project documentation.
• Support project team in achieving quality, programme and handover requirements.
