Job summary

PURCON is seeking a Project Planner based in Seri Kembangan to develop and manage the schedule for a major rail project. The role requires coordination with project managers to align resources, timeline, and milestones, ensuring on-time delivery across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in planning and scheduling for construction, and proficiency with scheduling software; Primavera P6 is a strong advantage. Position based at HQ with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction projects.
• Experience with project management/scheduling software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus.
• Based at Seri Kembangan HQ and willing to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project schedule outlining activities, milestones, and critical paths for successful rail project completion.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify resource requirements (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors) for each activity.
• Monitor progress and update the project schedule using scheduling software.
• Conduct schedule analysis to identify delays, critical path activities, and optimization opportunities.
• Assess impact of proposed changes on the project schedule.
• Generate regular schedule performance reports including progress, critical path, and earned value analysis.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
