Job summary

Social Multiway Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled AI backend engineer to design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications.

You will build robust APIs, work with Python, and deploy solutions on cloud platforms to support scalable, AI-powered features across mobile apps. Strong collaboration with product and mobile teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for AI products.
• Proficiency with large language models (LLMs) and integrating them into applications.
• Strong backend/API design for scalable AI services.
• Experience with Python in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and cost/performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance conversational AI models.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into existing and new applications for mobile integration.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs for conversational AI services across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI features in mobile apps (iOS/Android).
• Utilize Python and cloud services to build scalable AI solutions with clean architectures.
• Troubleshoot RAG/LLM pipelines for reliability and performance.
