Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Radiography or Medical Imaging Technology from an accredited institution.
• Current professional registration or licensure as a Radiographer as required by local regulatory bodies.
• Proven clinical experience in medical imaging, preferably in hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, imaging protocols and radiation safety principles.
• Competency in operating radiographic equipment and familiarity with digital imaging systems.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare staff; patient-centred approach.
• Ability to stand for long periods and assist patients; strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to CPD and staying current with industry standards.
• Preferred experience with CT or ultrasound would be advantageous.

iCare Meditecq is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our medical imaging team at our Bandar Sri Sendayan facility in Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. As a Radiographer, you will be at the forefront of patient care, utilising advanced imaging technology to capture diagnostic images that support clinical decision-making. This role is integral to our mission of delivering excellence in medical imaging and contributing to improved patient outcomes across our healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Performing a variety of radiographic examinations using X-ray and other imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Positioning patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images whilst minimising radiation exposure
• Operating and maintaining radiographic equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning properly and reporting any technical issues to management
• Adhering to radiation safety protocols and implementing protective measures to protect patients, staff and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all imaging procedures performed, including patient information and examination details
• Communicating effectively with patients to explain procedures, address concerns and ensure their comfort and cooperation during imaging
• Collaborating with radiologists, physicians and other clinical staff to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes and appropriate imaging protocols
• Keeping abreast of advancements in radiographic technology and best practices within the medical imaging field
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment within the imaging department

What we’re looking for
