Job summary

ParkCity Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Radiography professional to perform general radiography in the radiology room, wards, and operating theatre. You will assist in angiography or interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab and ensure equipment readiness and patient verification.

Responsibilities

• Performs general radiography examinations in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable to the radiology room.
• Performs radiography examination in ward whenever called upon.
• Performs radiography examination in Operation Theater whenever called upon.
• Assists Radiologist and Cardiologist in Angiography or Interventional Procedures in Cardiovascular Lab.
• Checks and ensures equipment are functioning daily.
• Verifies patient's identification against Imaging request form before proceeding to any Imaging procedure.
• Selects proper positioning and technique of x-ray according to departmental policies and procedures guidelines.
• Follows guidelines in code of practice for radiation protection.
• Ensures proper exposure factor selection are used during procedures.
• Assists in coordination of activities of Imaging department with other departments to ensure efficient service is delivered.

Performs general radiography examinations in accordance with the policies and procedures applicable to the radiology room. Performs radiography examination in ward and Operation Theater whenever called upon. Assists Radiologist and Cardiologist in Angiography or Interventional Procedures in Cardiovascular Lab. Manages the Imaging Department reception counter activities that include handling inquiries, providing accurate information to service users, managing the appointment system, scheduling of patient flow, monitoring work flow and assisting in patient registration and records.

About you

Minimum requirement is a Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging

Proficient in radiography works inclusive of general and high-end Imaging Services

Entry level with clinical experience during course

Registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) would be an added advantage
