Job summary

Cardiac Vascular Sentral (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Radiography professional to coordinate Radiology and ancillary services, including after-hours support.

You will assist senior medical staff and help maintain high-quality imaging standards while ensuring patient safety. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Medical Imaging, a minimum of 1 year in Cathlab preferred, and willingness to participate in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience, preferably in Cathlab.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in Cathlab are encouraged to apply.
• Able to work during office hours and participate in on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality radiographs or images to be kept as a permanent record.
• Provide patient care before, during and after procedures and examinations.
• Select exposure factors carefully to minimize radiation dose while achieving diagnostic images.
• Assist Radiologists, Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons and other physicians in Radiology procedures.
• Adhere to updated health and safety guidelines and ionising radiation regulations to protect staff and patients.
• Maintain radiation safety environment and ensure machines/equipment are properly serviced.

Job description

Report directly to the Radiology Manager and be responsible for the coordination of the Radiology and ancillary services during and after office hours.

To assist the Radiology Manager in the provision of clinical, qualitative, financial, strategic and organisational leadership in developing the Radiology Department as a Centre of Excellence.

To be responsible for ensuring that safe and effective patient service is delivered at all times in the Radiology Department in line with national, state and local rules and regulations as well as the agreed standards, Policies and Procedures set by CVSKL.

Responsibilities

To produce high-quality radiographs or images which can be kept as a permanent record.

Responsible for patient care before, during and after procedures and examinations.

Ensure the best selection of exposure factors has been selected for various procedures and examinations done in the safest manner to ensure patients receive as low as reasonable radiation dose.

Assisting Radiologists, Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons and other physicians in Radiology procedures.

Recognise and understand the updated health and safety guidelines, including ionising radiation regulations been followed to ensure staff and patients are protected.

Responsible for the radiation safety working environment, including ensuring that all machines and equipment are well maintained.

Requirement
