Job summary

Klinik Healthcare is seeking a Radiographer to provide quality medical imaging services and support doctors in delivering patient care in Malaysia.

You will perform X-ray examinations, ensure image quality, and maintain records while adhering to safety regulations. The role requires teamwork and the ability to work independently as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or recognised qualification in Radiography/Medical Imaging.
• Registered with the Malaysian regulatory body and possess APC.
• Experience in private clinics or healthcare facilities is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and patient-focused attitude.
• Responsible, organised, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations according to SOPs and doctors' requests.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor X-ray equipment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and X-ray images.
• Assist doctors with imaging procedures and escalate urgent findings.
• Register patients and manage clinic system records.
• Dispense medications as instructed by the doctor per SOPs.
• Assist with other clinic operations when X-ray workload is low.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the X-ray room.

Job description

As a Radiographer at Klinik Healthcare, you will play an important role in providing quality medical imaging services, ensuring patient safety, and supporting our doctors and clinic team in delivering excellent patient care.

Key responsibilities

Perform X-ray examinations according to clinic SOPs and doctors' requests.

Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and compliance with radiation safety protocols.

Operate, maintain, and monitor X-ray equipment to ensure safe and efficient use.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and X-ray images.

Assist doctors with imaging procedures and promptly escalation urgent findings or technical concerns.

Ensure compliance with relevant radiation safety regulations and clinic policies.

Register patients, update patient information, and manage registration records in the clinic system.

Dispense medications as instructed by the doctor, ensuring the correct medication, dosage, and quantity, in accordance with clinic SOPs and applicable regulations.

Assist with other general clinic operations when the X-ray workload is low.

Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of the X-ray room.

Requirements

Diploma or recognised qualification in Radiography / Medical Imaging

Registered with the relevant Malaysian regulatory body and possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC), where applicable

Experience in private clinics or healthcare facilities is an advantage

Good communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Responsible, organised, and able to work independently as well as in a team

Willing to work overtime when required

Knowledge or experience in basic radiology, ultrasound, or digital imaging
