Job summary

Southern Medical Group is seeking a competent Radiographer who can also support general Clinic Assistant duties. The role involves general X-ray imaging, adherence to radiation safety, patient positioning, and maintaining records in a fast-paced clinic.

Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Radiography with valid APC where applicable. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and you must be willing to work across Taman Pelangi & Eco Botanic branches and participate in clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Radiography or equivalent.
• Valid APC (Annual Practising Certificate) where applicable.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray imaging (e.g. chest, extremities, abdomen) safely and professionally.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal image quality.
• Maintain imaging records and documentation.
• Assist doctors in reviewing images when required.
• Conduct routine QA checks on imaging equipment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning.
• Register patients and manage front desk operations.
• Handle patient enquiries and coordinate clinic flow.
• Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures.
• Maintain clinic environment and cleanliness.
• Shift: 5.5 days, 9am–6pm; weekends and public holidays.
