Job summary

A leading global supplier of cellular IOT modules in Penang, Malaysia seeks an experienced RF hardware developer. Responsibilities include supporting the development of RF hardware and debugging communication modules. Ideal candidates hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and have at least 1 year of RF design experience. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. This position involves teamwork and problem-solving within a dynamic global team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above in communication, electronics, radio, microwave, automation, etc.
  • Familiar with RF schematic design, PCB decoration, circuit debugging.
  • At least 1 year GSM/WCDMA/LTE mobile phone RF design and debugging experience.
  • Good understanding of RF basic theory, familiar with LTE/LTE-A communication principle.
  • Proficient in English, able to communicate in oral English.
  • Good team spirit, serious and responsible.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for RF hardware development support in debugging and resolving wireless communication module products.
  • Provide reliable design solutions considering market competitors.
  • Design SCH and PCB for RF-part and optimize performance.
  • Support in solving RF problems during certifications.
  • Coordinate between different teams such as HW-Development and Sales.
  • Handle module production line issues.

Job responsibilities
  1. Responsible for RF hardware development support in debugging and resolving on 2G/3G/4G/5G/CAT-M/NB-IoT/GNSS/Wi-Fi and other wireless communication module products.
  2. Provide reliable design solutions related to product-line/region, also consider the key performance aspects of design from market competitors.
  3. Design and create the SCH and PCB for RF-part and take part into further development and optimization process which includes tuning/matching circuits regarding optimum performance under 3GPP Test Cases Compliance.
  4. Support to solve the RF problems encountered in cost-down/product-line/certification processes.
  5. Actively coordinate between different teams (like HW-Development, Product Development, Certification, Sales Team, FAE).
  6. Support and handling of module production line issues, including problem reporting, synchronization.
Qualification
  1. Bachelor degree or above in communication, electronics, radio, microwave, automation, etc.
  2. Familiar with RF schematic design, PCB decoration, circuit debugging
  3. At least 1 year GSM/WCDMA/LTE mobile phone RF design and debugging experience, Qualcomm platform developmentand design experience is preferred
  4. Have A good understanding of RF basic theory, familiar with LTE/LTE-A communication principle
  5. Proficient in English reading and writing, able to communicate in oral English is preferred
  6. Good team work spirit, serious and responsible for work, proactive, willing to bear hardships, easy to deal with sincere, strong ability to work under pressure.
