Job summary

Accenture is seeking a General Ledger/R2R specialist in Malaysia to maintain the General Ledger, perform reconciliations, and post recurring journals in SAP. You will collaborate with AP/AR and Treasury to ensure accurate monthly close.

The role requires 2+ years in accounting, strong SAP and Excel skills, and bilingual English/Thai communication. Aiming to support IFRS17 and Finance Transformation initiatives, this position offers exposure to global processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant, minimum 2 years accounting experience, or qualified by experience.
• Good oral/written English & Thai skills, strong Excel and SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex bank reconciliations by matching SAP GL entries with bank accounts and clear variances.
• Substantiate AR, AP and Fixed Assets sub-ledgers against GL control accounts.
• Prepare and post recurring journals, accruals, prepayments, and adjusting entries in SAP.
• Support balance sheet reconciliation preparation and review BS reconciliation.
• Issue and post journal vouchers for adjusting incorrect transactions and other costs.
• Monitor and clear outstanding reconciling items and ensure accruals are controlled.
• Support monthly/quarterly closing for US GAAP financial statements and related reports.
• Assist in day-to-day operations and tax compliance and internal controls.
• Support IFRS17 implementation and Finance Transformation initiatives.
