Job summary

HFG (Hong Kong) Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Record-to-Report (R2R) professional at Executive to Manager level to join the Finance team. You will support or oversee accounting activities across Insurance, Investment, Reinsurance, General Accounting, Payroll, Indirect Tax and Intercompany, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Experience in Record-to-Report (R2R), Insurance Accounting, Reinsurance Accounting, Investment Accounting or General Accounting.
Strong command of English; Cantonese reading Chinese proficiency preferred.
Experience in Shared Services, Captive Centres, Global Business Services (GBS) or outsourced finance environments is an advantage.
Good understanding of accounting principles, journals, reconciliations and period-end closing.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day R2R and accounting activities across relevant finance areas.
Prepare journals, accounting adjustments and supporting schedules.
Perform account reconciliations and investigate outstanding or reconciling items.
Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
Review complex accounting transactions and provide technical guidance on accounting treatment.
