Job summary

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and related equipment.
• Ensure duties are carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively.
• Possess mechanical/electronics aptitude for assembling/disassembling PSL tools and working with sensing technologies.
• Work with Directional/RSS or M/LWD sensors as part of down-hole tools.
• Adhere to required job instructions and company safety standards.

Job Duties

• Under strict supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspections on down-hole tool electronics and other equipment used in the application for down-hole tools, including Directional/ RSS or M/LWD sensors.
• Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
• Areas of specialization may include: mechanical aptitude, electronics aptitude, computer skills, assembly and disassembly of tools associated with PSL equipment, or Measure while drilling and/or Logging While Drilling down-hole tools.
• Requires a technical school certificate, or equivalent.
• An associate degree or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

'Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including “R&M Electrical Tech II”, or “R&M Electrical Tech III”.
