Emerson in Penang is seeking a Project Manager to lead mid-to-large cross-functional initiatives in the R&D Sustaining Group. You will manage full lifecycle projects, address manufacturing and quality escalations, and drive continuous improvement across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

The role emphasizes strong collaboration, risk management, and timely communications with sponsors and leadership to deliver business impact.

Qualifications

• MFG background required.
• Able to lead cross-functional projects through full lifecycle.
• Handle manufacturing escalations, customer escalations, Quality/RMA escalations and lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and action-item tracking.
• Manage scope, cost, timelines and resource requirements to achieve objectives.
• Facilitate planning, decision-making, and problem-solving across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Services, and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while balancing schedule, cost, quality, and feature requirements.
• Drive alignment among cross-functional stakeholders and escalate issues appropriately.
• Build partnerships across functions to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide clear and timely project communications to teams, sponsors and leadership.
