Job summary

TT Vision Technologies Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, maintain and optimize software for automated visual inspection systems, delivering robust code built to customer specifications.

You will work with C#/.Net, C++, and Python, integrate cameras and lighting, test and review code with seniors, and collaborate across engineering, service and setup teams on exciting machine vision projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; fresh graduates with strong qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Strong programming skills in C#/.Net, C++, Python and related languages.
• Experience with vision systems, image processing, or machine vision is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and optimize software for automated visual inspection system.
• Implement features based on system specifications and customer requirements.
• Research, design, and implement defect detection, inspection, and measurement methodologies.
• Integrate hardware such as cameras and lighting into the system.
• Perform testing, validation and code reviews under guidance from senior leads.
• Collaborate with engineering, setup and service teams; document changes and troubleshooting steps.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, 1-3 years of experience is preferred, fresh graduates with excellent academic qualifications and relevant projects/internships are strongly encouraged to apply.

Strong programming skills in C#/.Net, C++, Python and others.

Detail oriented with ability to identify, troubleshoot and solve complex vision/software/hardware/system problems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to take direction, prioritize, manage task, work independently and in a team.

Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Willing to travel as required, during development, installations, and upgrades process.

Experience in vision library such as Halcon, OpenCV or VisionPro is an added advantage.

Experience in vision system development, image processing, optics is an added advantage.

Experience in machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, or OpenVINO is an added advantage.

Familiarity with GPU acceleration, CUDA, edge AI deployment is an added advantage.
