Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a fresh graduate for an R&D / Process Engineer role in Polymer/Chemical Engineering. You will contribute to project objectives, review proposals, and plan resources to execute trials and monitor plant processes.

Responsibilities include testing new processes, collecting data, supervising operations, and troubleshooting. A Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering is required; gloves manufacturing experience is a plus.

R&D / Process Engineer (Fresh Graduate – Polymer/Chemical Engineering)

Ensure timely execution of assignments by:

Develops project /trials / study objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.

Determines project / trials / study specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies.

Undertaking effective planning and provision of resources.

Monitoring implementation and progress of assignments.

Involving plant manufactory process by:

Testing new processes

Collecting data required to make improvements and modifications

Supervising plant operations

Investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems

Liaising with project engineers and specialists

Monitoring product performance

Observe and understand plant packing, customer inspection, loading process

Ensure compliance Trial Run requirements by:

Executing requirements of trial input and output during the trial run.

Performing trial execution technical analysis, troubleshooting and improvement activities.

Compiling data and document for trials.

Other assigned duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Qualification and Experience

Recognized Degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering and any related operation or process improvement experience.

Relevant working experience in gloves manufacturing environment is preferred (For experienced candidate)

Strong knowledge in process improvement, project management, analysis and design skills.
