Ambu A/S in Penang, Malaysia invites an R&D Lab Technician to join our expanding team. Based in the Penang site, you will maintain test equipment, perform preventive maintenance, calibrations and troubleshoot complex systems while supporting 3D printing and data collection for ongoing projects.

You will work closely with engineers, assist in equipment setup, documentation in Agile PLM, participate in 5S audits, and help drive continuous improvements in lab operations to ensure safe and effective

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or any Engineering field.
• Hands-on knowledge in mechanical and electronics equipment.
• Experience with equipment setup, maintenance and calibration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machines and ancillary devices.
• Good documentation practices and data integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain test equipment functionality, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration coordination.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinate 3D printing services for projects.
• Support engineers in tools design, product testing, and data collection.
• Assist sourcing and logistic activities for R&D parts.
• Record documents in the Agile PLM database.
• Conduct daily 5S lab audits and propose improvements.
• Execute lab tests ensuring data accuracy and safety.
• Assist in day-to-day lab verification and improvement activities.
