Job summary

Emerson Process Management Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd invites talented students to join its Engineering Internship Program in Penang. You will work with mentors across hardware, software, mechanical, test development, and RF engineering on real projects throughout the product development lifecycle.

You will gain hands-on experience by designing, prototyping, testing, validating, and troubleshooting, while documenting results and recommendations.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of electronic circuits, digital logic, embedded systems, analog circuits, or power supply design.
Programming knowledge in C/C++.
Understanding of embedded systems, hardware interfacing, computer architecture, or object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with 3D CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.
Interest in test methodologies, measurement systems, automation, hardware-software integration, and data analysis.
Knowledge of RF fundamentals, circuit design, testing, or wireless communication concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Support engineering projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.
Participate in design, development, prototyping, testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and improve product performance.
Apply engineering principles and academic knowledge to real-world applications.
Document findings, test results, and recommendations throughout project execution.
