Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineer to conduct feasibility studies and drive improvements across product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes. You will validate performance and optimize processes, while preparing technical documentation such as PPAP and work instructions.

The role also involves coordinating sample development with Production, QC, and Sales, researching new materials, and recommending manufacturing solutions to enhance quality and support growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Industrial).
• 1–2 years of progressive R&D/Technical/Quality experience in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) or QMS.
• Excel for data analysis using MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and improve products through material testing, performance validation, and continuous process optimization.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including PPAP, work instructions, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate sample development, testing, and cross-functional activities with Production, QC, and Sales teams.
• Research and recommend new materials, components, and manufacturing solutions to improve product quality and support business growth.
