Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an engineer to support new product development and product introduction activities. You will review drawings, specifications, and customer requirements, and assist in design, modification, and validation efforts.

You will collaborate with Quality, Production, Tooling, and Assembly teams to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and maintain engineering documentation. The role also involves liaising with customers and supporting ECN/ECR activities.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development (NPI) and product introduction activities.
• Review product drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Support product design, modification, and improvement activities.
• Conduct product trials, testing, and validation.
• Work closely with Quality, Production, Tooling, and Assembly teams to resolve product and process issues.
• Investigate product-related problems and perform root cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documents, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Support product and process improvement to improve quality, cost, and productivity.
• Liaise with customers on product-related technical issues when required.
• Support ECN/ECR and engineering change activities.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and applicable standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.
