Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking a hardware design engineer to design and specify components for advanced test and measurement products. The role involves developing products, validating designs through simulations and measurements, and coordinating feature development with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have relevant bachelor’s or master’s degrees and 4–5 years of experience, plus familiarity with high-speed digital design, FPGA and PCB design, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or University Degree or equivalent.
• Has experience using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMMs and power supplies for problem resolution and design verification.
• Experience or familiarity with electronic product safety and regulatory requirements, High-Speed Digital Design, FPGA Design, PCB Design.

Responsibilities

• Designs Keysight products and specifies the components that make up the products.
• Designs and develops products, components, processes, and systems using broad engineering concepts and research techniques.
• Documents research and design specifications and solves complex design problems including customer application issues.
• Leads product definition and may coordinate a small group in feature development and integration.
• Runs simulations to validate design scope and creates test plans to ensure designs meet specifications.
