Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced electronic design engineer to shape product definitions and develop complex hardware solutions in high‑end test & measurement domains. You will collaborate across mechanical, firmware, and PCB teams to deliver robust products that meet stringent performance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field with typical 4–5 years of experience for entry to this level.
• Experience with test instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, DMMs and power supplies for problem resolution and design verification.

Responsibilities

• Specifies new product functional requirements, scope and specification to meet performance, cost and schedule objectives.
• Leverages existing design to create architecture block diagrams.
• Understands schematics and key circuit parameters to identify and choose suitable components.
• Runs power budgeting and electronic simulations to validate the design scope.
• Creates test plans to ensure designs are tested to meet specifications.
• Performs electronic measurements to support R&D investigations, turn on, troubleshooting, characterization, validation tasks.
• Collaborates with mechanical and firmware teams to meet project goals.
• Works with PCB layout designer to ensure physical implementation of PCB meets performance and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitates transition of product design and enhancements to full production/delivery.
• Searches for new methods/technologies/solutions to elevate design competency for test & measurement products.
