Roland Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an R&D Engineer (Electronic and Electrical) to design and develop electronic circuits and PCBA for musical instruments. You will lead schematic and PCB work, generate BOMs, and coordinate with software, acoustics, and product design teams to deliver robust prototypes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in electronic circuit design and development.
• Proficiency with CAD tools for electronic design (Altium, Eagle).
• Strong analog and digital circuit design knowledge.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of audio signal processing or acoustics is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in designing electronic circuits and PCBA for instruments.
• Develop schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts and related data.
• Collaborate with software, design and acoustics teams.
• Prototype, test designs, and verify functionality.
• Troubleshoot during development and production.
• Ensure EMC and safety compliance for products.
• Stay updated with components and instrument technology.
