Job summary

MAKER-RAY TECHNOLOGY based in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a R&D C++ Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. You will develop software, debug issues with on-site support, and document features while building vision components and back-end services.

The role requires C++11 proficiency, familiarity with QT GUI, and knowledge of database design, data analysis, and network programming, plus strong teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with GUI frameworks; QT GUI Framework is preferred.
• Proficiency in C++11 with good programming habits and coding style.
• Familiarity with database design, data analysis, and network communication programming.
• Ability to proactively take on development tasks, collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and work onsite in Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and complete development tasks according to project schedule and objectives.

The R&D C++ Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Penang, Malaysia.

Role Description

• 1. Developing software and completing various development tasks according to the project's schedule and objectives.
• 2. Debugging software, collaborating with on-site support engineers to address customer feedback, and developing new features.

• 4. Collaborating with customer service to resolve client-reported issues.
