Job summary

MAKER-RAY TECHNOLOGY in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a full-time on-site R&D C++ Software Engineer. You will develop software, debug issues, and implement new features for our optical inspection solutions used in electronics manufacturing.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site R&D C++ Software Engineer role based in Penang, Malaysia.

• Developing software and completing various development tasks according to the project's schedule and objectives.
• Debugging software, collaborating with on-site support engineers to address customer feedback, and developing new features.
• Writing software documentation and developing and maintaining upper computer vision software and back-end services.
• Collaborating with customer service to resolve client-reported issues.
• Working with algorithm engineers to deploy vision algorithms into the software.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with any GUI framework; QT GUI Framework is preferred.
• Proficiency in C++ 11, with good programming habits and coding style.
• Familiarity with database design, data analysis, and network communication programming.
• Ability to proactively take on development tasks, handle high work pressure effectively, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
