Job summary

HR Property Developer in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control and tender activities for ongoing projects in Malacca City. The role requires accurate quantity take-off, preparation of Bills of Quantities, and management of tender processes with clear evaluation of quotations.

The successful candidate will monitor project costs, variations and budgets, and prepare tender reports and cost analyses for management approval.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.
3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, tendering or construction.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of QS/tender software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Conduct quantity take-off and measurement from drawings, specifications and project documents.
Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents and pricing schedules.
Manage tender processes including tender invitations, clarifications, evaluations and comparisons.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs, variations, claims and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare tender reports, cost analysis and recommendations for management approval.
