Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor position. The candidate should hold a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor and/or Building Management and have at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Proficiency with MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Project is preferred, along with strong organisational and time management abilities. The role requires independence with minimal supervision, teamwork, flexibility to travel, and willingness to work long hours to support project planning,

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor and/or Building Management.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office and MS Project.
• Possess good organisation and time management skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate teamwork.
• Flexible, able to travel and work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and coordinate with consultants and contractors, responsible for the overall coordination of the project, including project planning, budgeting and cost control, and the implementation of safety and quality systems.
• Follow up on the application for planning and construction drawing approvals with local government departments.
• Ability to review construction drawings and estimate building materials.
• Assist in project implementation and supervision of on-site construction progress.
• Prepare relevant reports as required by the Project Manager.
