Job summary

Qualifications

In this strategic commercial position, you will lead the tendering frameworks and budget control operations to capture high-capacity renewable energy developments.

Responsibilities

• Formulate comprehensive cost estimations, project budgets, and detailed commercial proposals for large-scale clean energy and storage ventures.
• Evaluate tender designs and technical specifications to identify potential risk factors, hidden expenditures, and currency variables.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery divisions to implement cost-effective design modifications and value engineering solutions.
• Lead contract negotiations, variation order evaluations, and clarification meetings with external suppliers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.
• Supervise the post-bid review processes and provide guidance to junior estimating team members to ensure robust internal compliance.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience in construction cost management, with a specific focus on large-scale clean energy or infrastructure engineering projects.
• Strong technical comprehension of solar energy components, electrical sub-station setups, and energy storage technology frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of project finance basics, cash flow structures, and international trade terminology.
• High proficiency in advanced financial spreadsheet modelling tools and commercial estimation software.
• Proven ability to execute contract agreements under tight tender schedules while managing multiple cross‑functional relationships.
