Job summary

Boston Scientific in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance professional to review QA documentation, initiate and close nonconforming reports, and support Quality Engineering and Operations. The role requires collaboration with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and ensure regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science, experience in manufacturing (medical device a plus), and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• NCEP management experience or familiarity preferred.
• Strong communication with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ability to identify, communicate and act on quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Review and update QA documentation.
• Initiate and close nonconforming reports promptly.
• Support Quality Engineering and Operations functions.
• Ensure compliance with plant-wide procedures and practices.
• Comply with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide excellent service to internal customers.
• Communicate safety and environmental concerns to management.
• Demonstrate initiative with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and update of QA Documentation.
• Initiate and work on nonconforming report. Ensure the nonconforming report is closed in timely manner.
• To provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function.
• Compliance to all relevant plant wide procedures and practices.
• Compliance to all standard and regulation.
• Provision of excellent service to all internal customers.
• Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
• Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on ones own initiative and with minimum supervision is required.
• Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Identifies, resolves and prevents Manufacturing issues by determining root cause and implementing corrective and preventive action.

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degreen in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, while experience in the medical device industry will be an added advantage.
• Required skill(s): NCEP management, ability to communicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
