Job summary

Boston Scientific Medical Device (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform routine final functional testing, product/material release criteria testing and inspection, and to document results accurately.

You will review QA documentation, manage nonconforming reports, and support monthly reporting on nonconformance data. The role offers benefits including daily meal allowance, wellness allowance, EPF 15%, 13‑month bonus, insurance and medical benefits,

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, science, or related field.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• 2–8 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine final functional testing and product/material release criteria testing/inspection
• Record and document test results accurately
• Review and update QA documentation
• Initiate and manage nonconforming reports, ensuring timely closure
• Provide support to Quality Engineering and Operations teams
• Ensure compliance with QA laboratory procedures, plant-wide practices, and relevant regulations
• Deliver excellent service to internal customers
• Report environmental, health, or safety concerns to Manager
• Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating sound decision-making
• Identify, resolve, and prevent manufacturing issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions

About the Role
