Job summary

Boston Scientific in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking a QA professional to review and update QA documentation, initiate and close nonconforming reports, and perform product defect analysis. You will support Quality Engineering and Operations, ensuring compliance with plant procedures and regulatory standards, while coordinating with Production and Quality teams.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Science, 3+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred; medical device background is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of related experience.
• Strong communication with Production, Engineering and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and update of QA Documentation.
• Initiate and work on nonconforming report. Ensure the nonconforming report is closed in timely manner.
• Performing product defect analysis.
• To provide assistance and support to the Quality Engineering and Operations function.
• Compliance to all relevant plant wide procedures and practices.
• Compliance to all standard and regulation.
• Provision of excellent service to all internal customers.
• Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
• Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work on ones own initiative and with minimum supervision is required.
• Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Identifies, resolves and prevents Manufacturing issues by determining root cause and implementing corrective and preventive action.

Job Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degreen in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, while experience in the medical device industry will be an added advantage.
• Required skill(s): NCEP management, ability to communicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
