Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Penang seeks a QMS & Training Manager to develop, implement, and coordinate product assurance programs to prevent defects in new or existing products. The role focuses on strengthening quality systems and ensuring supplier and customer compliance.

You will lead audits, interface with customers on quality issues, and drive continuous improvement through training and process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted.
• Typically 8+ years in quality systems development, implementation and maintenance.
• Advanced people, process and cross-functional management skills with customers and suppliers.
• Deep understanding of national and international regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate product assurance programs to prevent defects.
• Interface with customers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives.
• Lead internal/external audits and regulatory/compliance audits.
• Review and improve quality procedures to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and engineering to ensure supply quality and process control.
