Job summary

SWEP, part of the Dover Corporation family in Malaysia, seeks an experienced Safety & Health professional to support QMS, EHS, and environmental initiatives. You will conduct risk assessments, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvements across manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of Malaysian OSHA, 3+ years in a manufacturing safety role, and ability to work with cross-functional teams to elevate safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in safety & health or engineering.
• Certification in Occupational Safety and Health.
• Minimum 3 years in safety/health in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems.
• Knowledge of Malaysian OSHA Acts & regulations.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong problem solving and incident investigation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and people management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager in implementing and monitoring QMS, PED & EHS.
• Develop and maintain safety and health policies, ensure statutory compliance.
• Conduct workplace risk assessments, inspections and investigations.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams to meet quality specs.
• Maintain safety/quality documentation and reference materials.
• Lead investigations on non-conformance and implement CAPAs.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Support training to strengthen quality and safety culture.
