Job summary

TONGDA SMART TECH (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd, located in Kota, Kedah, seeks a quality inspector to perform first and final inspections on production processes. The role emphasizes using measuring instruments and inspection tools to ensure product conformity and to identify non-conforming items for corrective action.

You will inspect materials, tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters across the production line, conduct random checks, document defects, and maintain comprehensive records to support

Qualifications

• Be familiar with the requirements for the use of relevant measuring instruments and inspection tools, as well as the methods for handling unqualified products, and operate them skillfully.
• Responsible for the first inspection and final inspection of process operations to prevent batch problems in the process.
• Responsible for inspection of the production process, regular inspection and confirmation of materials, tooling and fixtures, and machine parameters used in the entire production process.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with measuring instruments and inspection tools; operate them skillfully.
• Perform first-article and final inspections to prevent batch issues.
• Inspect production processes, confirm materials/tools/fixtures, and machine parameters.
• Conduct random inspections of products, re-confirmation, marking and statistics of defects, and maintain records.

Receive the issued relevant quality documents, inspection tools, samples, etc., confirm the consistency with actual implementation, output non-conforming items, and follow up on the improvement and closure of non-conforming items.

• Be familiar with the requirements for the use of relevant measuring instruments and inspection tools, as well as the methods for handling unqualified products, and operate them skillfully.
• Responsible for the first inspection and final inspection of process operations to prevent batch problems in the process.
• Responsible for inspection of the production process, regular inspection and confirmation of materials, tooling and fixtures, and machine parameters used in the entire production process.
