Job summary

Globus Castors (M) Sdn Bhd in Kedah is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to uphold product quality during raw materials, in-process, and finished goods checks. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections and report defects according to specifications.

Fresh graduates or candidates without direct QA experience may be considered, with basic English and attention to detail preferred. Training and long-term career opportunities are provided in a factory setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC, production, manufacturing, or factory operations is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates or candidates without direct QA experience may be considered.
• Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
• Able to read and understand basic measurements, product specifications, and work instructions.
• Good eyesight and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, components, WIP, and finished products.
• Inspect products according to specifications, drawings, samples, and standards.
• Identify and report defects, abnormalities, damage, or deviations.
• Conduct visual and basic dimensional inspections using measuring tools.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality records.
• Inform Production Manager of quality issues immediately.
• Assist in investigating causes of production defects.
• Conduct re-inspections after corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and safe.
• Support QA team during customer inspections and audits.
