Ascentec Engineering in Penang seeks a QC Inspector to perform dimensional measurement and quality inspection of in-process, finished, assembled and FA parts according to drawings and inspection checklists. You will use precision instruments and interpret ASME Y14.5M drawings.
Responsibilities include reviewing non-conformance, issuing NCRs, ensuring timely release, maintaining 5S at the workplace, and training new inspectors as required by AESB management.

To perform dimensional measurement and quality inspection for in-process, finished, assembled parts and FA parts according to part drawings, specifications and inspection checklist.
To use variety of precision measuring instruments such as VMM, profilometer, indicators, height gauge, micro-meters and any other inspection gauges.
To perform in-process inspection, detailed visual inspection, receiving inspection, pre/post anodize parts, pre/post assembly parts and final inspection. Ensuring no cosmetic escape to next process.
To review and interpret drawings (per ASME Y14.5M) and understanding customer cosmetic specification.
To review and verify all non-conformance items and issuing Non-Conformance Report when found during the inspection. Including providing effective inspection findings.
To ensure all parts are inspected promptly and released in a timely manner to avoid any line down-time.
To comply and maintain QC inspection reports/checklist appropriately.
Understanding customer FAIR requirements and always ensuring 5S at workplace.
To perform any other QC tasks required.
To train other/new inspectors related to inspection methods and equipment.
Assist in any tasks as instructed by your superior and/or management of AESB from time to time
