Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Quality Engineer Tester in Malaysia with 5-7 years of experience in manual and automation testing to join the Software Engineering team. You will ensure software quality through test planning, execution, defect management, and automation development.

The role requires expertise in Selenium, Appium, Postman, and JIRA within an Agile framework, driving high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on Manual Testing (Functional, Integration, System, and Regression).
• Automation Testing using Selenium and Appium.
• API Testing using Postman.
• Strong experience using JIRA for defect management and Agile project tracking.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for web and mobile applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and Appium.
• Execute manual test cases and identify defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform API testing and validation using Postman.
• Own the end-to-end defect lifecycle management using JIRA, including logging, tracking, retesting, and closure.
• Build and maintain reusable automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
