Job summary

VAT Group AG, a leading international developer and manufacturer of high-performance vacuum valves, seeks a Quality Engineer to join its Malaysia team. The role focuses on coordinating engineering and operational changes while maintaining compliance with quality management systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution, accurate documentation, and sustained quality improvements across processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field (Engg or Quality preferred).
• Min 3 years working experience in production, engineering or quality (Manufacturing Industry).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external changes to ensure compliance with quality and business requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and drive timely execution of approved change requests.
• Ensure proper containment of products and materials affected by engineering changes until all required approvals are obtained.
• Monitor change implementation and ensure execution is completed according to the approved plan.
• Follow up with action owners to ensure qualification activities and action items are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Change.Net.
• Verify that engineering changes are implemented, documented, and closed in accordance with quality standards.
• Promote adherence to Change Excellence (CE!) principles and change control processes across the organization.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance change management and quality processes.

Education
