Job summary

Palco Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/Quality Assurance professional to join our electronics manufacturing team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, conducting internal audits, root cause analysis and preventive actions, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.

You will work in a collaborative environment, chase continuous improvement, review BOM and product labels, and help balance quality with delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or repair services.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, IPQC and root cause analysis.
• Able to read schematics, diagrams and BOM.
• Organized and team-oriented, proactive about quality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve our Quality Management System to ensure processes meet customer and company requirements.
• Investigate quality issues, identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct internal audits, process audits and quality inspections.
• Support customer quality requirements, complaints and quality-related reporting.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures and work instructions. Verify product labels and review BOM to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Promote continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing

Requirement:

Degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.

Relevant experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing, repair services or a related environment,

Familiarity with ISO 9001, IPQC, quality tools and root cause analysis.

Capable of reading and understanding electronic schematics, diagrams and BOM.

Organized, practical and comfortable working in a team.

A proactive attitude and the ability to take ownership of quality issues.You don't need to have all the answers, but you should be willing to find them.
