Job summary

Fengshi Metal Technology in Malaysia seeks a Quality Documentation/Control Assistant to maintain and organize quality documents, inspection records, and reports, and to prepare quality-related documents such as inspection reports, NCRs, CAPAs, and certificates.

You will record and update inspection results into the ERP/MES or quality database, assist in ISO 9001 document control, coordinate CAPA documentation, and support incoming, in-process, and final inspection documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or SPM with relevant administrative or quality experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good organizational and data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential documents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize quality documents, inspection records, and reports.
• Prepare and issue quality-related documents such as inspection reports, NCRs, CAPAs, and certificates.
• Record and update inspection results into the ERP/MES or quality database.
• Assist in document control for ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
• Coordinate CAPA documentation and follow-up.
• Support inspection documentation across incoming, in-process, and final stages.
• Prepare quality reports and statistical data for management review.
• Assist during internal and external quality audits.
• Maintain calibration records and filing of inspection equipment certificates.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales on quality documentation.
• Ensure quality records are complete, accurate, and properly archived.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Manager.
