Job summary

United Hydraulic Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality function in Kapar, Selangor. You will develop and maintain the Quality Management System, monitor daily quality activities, and train the inspection team to ensure compliance and continual improvement.

You will focus on ISO 9001 alignment, evaluate supplier quality, and drive corrective actions while leveraging your knowledge of IATF 16949 as an added advantage. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with good English email communication skills.
• Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical processes and inspection methods.
• Familiar with common measuring tools such as micrometers and dial indicators.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's quality management systems, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor the daily implementation and effectiveness of quality systems.
• Lead, manage, and train the quality inspection team.
• Monitor quality performance and conduct quality assessments.
• Assist in evaluating supplier quality systems and drive continuous supplier improvement.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement.
• Propose preventive and corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Organize quality review meetings and coordinate issue resolution.
• Handle customer complaints and quality issues using the 8D problem-solving process.
• Ensure quality standards and procedures are consistently followed.
