Job summary

United Hydraulic Sdn Bhd in Kapar, Selangor invites a Quality Management professional to develop and implement the company's quality management systems, standards, and procedures.

You will monitor daily quality system effectiveness, lead the quality inspection team, analyze data, and drive supplier quality improvements, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong communication, independence, and knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 are essential, with Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia with good English email communication.
• Mandarin speaking ability is an added advantage.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical processes and inspection methods.
• Familiar with measuring tools such as micrometers and dial indicators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's quality management systems, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor the daily implementation and effectiveness of quality systems.
• Lead, manage, and train the quality inspection team.
• Monitor quality performance and conduct quality assessments.
• Assist in evaluating supplier quality systems and drive continuous supplier improvement.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Propose preventive and corrective actions to improve product quality.
• Organize quality review meetings and coordinate issue resolution.
• Handle customer complaints and quality issues using the 8D problem-solving process.
• Ensure quality standards and procedures are consistently followed.
