Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA leader to supervise a team of inspectors and technicians in Penang. You will handle NCRs, CAPAs, and customer complaints while investigating root causes with process owners to implement effective corrective actions.

You will develop and maintain QA documentation, perform acceptance tests on new materials and process changes, and monitor supplier performance to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant technical field.
• 3-4 years of relevant working experience preferred.
• Proficiency with QC tools (SPC, 8D, DOE, FMEA).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Analytical, proactive, independent with good problem-solving.
• Cross-functional teamwork ability.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a team of QA inspectors and technicians in daily routines.
• Control and manage NCRs, CAPAs, and customer complaints.
• Investigate root causes of quality incidences with process owners.
• Institute corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Develop and maintain QA documentation (SOPs, control plans, inspection criteria) and perform acceptance tests on new materials and process changes.
• Monitor supplier, outsource, and subcon performance and drive improvements.
• Provide product engineering support for new product introductions and process validations.
• Drive quality continuous improvement initiatives.
